Yoga is not about self-improvement, it’s about self-acceptance.

About me

I have been practicing yoga since 2016 and every time I step onto my mat I fall in love with it a little bit more. Back then I was living in Manchester studying for my marketing degree, I found that it helped me tremendously with stress and anxiety, each time I finished a class, I would leave feeling a little lighter, calmer, and more accepting of myself.

Fast forward to now, I have trained with numerous wonderful teachers all over the world from the UK and Ibiza to India, Bali and Australia, each class brings with it nuggets of information about yoga & myself.

I became so fascinated that in 2018 I trained in Goa, India for 200 hours and became a certified teacher in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa. Since then my asana practice strengthened and my knowledge expanded.

The thing I love the most about yoga is that I will forever be a student, I enjoy sharing all that I have learned to this point in my classes and workshops. In 2022 I trained for an additional 50 hours in Yin Yoga with the amazing Angela Jervis-Reid and in 2024 I returned to India for an additional 100 hour training with Dulce Mandala creator of the Mandala Vinyasa Method based on the 4 Elements.

My training and teaching experiences have shown me the power and impact that yoga has on the body and the mind. There have been several times throughout my journey where I have found myself in floods of tears, mid-practice, out of nowhere. This is what I mean when I talk about “power”.

Yoga is a bottom-up therapy that can help you self-regulate, heal, and find peace within.

It is vital in this day and age to take time for yourself. With so much noise in our everyday lives on and offline, turning inwards helps to free the mind. Asking “how am I feeling”? I mean, really…how often do you ask yourself that question?

Life is wonderful, but it’s also hard at times - practicing yoga can assist you in cultivating presence in order to flow through life with a little more ease, embracing change and feeling more calm and content.
